A small educational company with big ambitions

SweTeach is owned and managed by professional teachers. Meet our team here!

What we believe in

Our teaching is based on the following principles.

Time is a valuable resource and we have great respect for our participants' time. By creating synergies between work, everyday life, and language learning, we can achieve the best possible results in the shortest possible time.

Efficiency

Everyone is different and we aim to offer a learning option for everyone. We are constantly developing our offer to meet different preferences in terms of group size, price, and schedule.

Flexibility

Learning a new language should be fun and rewarding! With us, you won't spend hours with boring worksheets. Instead, we want to engage our participants in conversations and discussions, adapted to their language level and interests.

Commitment

From teacher training to the corporate world

How it all began

A teacher training program takes a long time to complete. Five years if you study to teach upper secondary school and adult education. During this time, you have time to think and reflect a lot. The idea behind SweTeach came to Rebecca at the very end of her teacher training. She was doing extra work helping SFI students with their homework, and every week she met students full of drive and determination. But these students were also frustrated, as they always had new, uninspiring worksheets to fill in. As a result, they became good at repetitive tasks, but their ability to speak and express themselves in Swedish did not improve much.

A subject teacher training takes a long time to complete. Five years if you study with a focus on upper secondary school and adult education. During this time you have time to think and reflect a bit on the environment around you. The idea for SweTeach came to Rebecca just at the end of her teacher training. She worked extra with homework help for SFI students and every week met students full of drive and determination. But the same students were also frustrated when every week they brought new stencils to be filled in without their ability to speak and express themselves in Swedish improving significantly.
